YOUTH-IIT – Young Organizers Using Technology for Hybrid Innovative IoT Solutions and Collaborative Tools – is an Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in the field of youth. The project brings together five organisations from Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania to support young people in developing the digital, entrepreneurial and environmental competences needed in a rapidly changing economy. At the heart of YOUTH-IIT is the practical use of Internet of Things technologies. Through accessible educational resources, young participants will explore IoT sensors and tools such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi and Microbit, while also learning how digital collaboration platforms can support teamwork, project planning and business development. The project places particular emphasis on young people with fewer opportunities, including NEETs, unemployed youth, migrants and young people at risk of social exclusion. Its aim is to make innovative learning available beyond geographical, financial and social barriers. Over 30 months, YOUTH-IIT will develop a multilingual e-learning platform, educational programmes, training manuals, a mobile application, practical guidance and pilot activities involving 200 young people. By connecting technology, entrepreneurship and sustainability, the project seeks to help young people transform ideas into responsible, innovative and environmentally conscious initiatives. It will also build a European community for continued peer learning.
