WP1 – Project Management
Work Package 1 ensures the effective coordination, financial management, quality control and timely implementation of YOUTH-IIT. Led by the coordinator, CYLN, it establishes the project’s communication procedures, monitoring mechanisms, reporting routines and risk-management approach. Partners participate in regular online meetings, progress reviews and transnational cooperation activities to monitor milestones, address challenges and maintain alignment with the approved objectives. Shared digital tools support task management, document exchange and collaborative work. Quality assurance is integrated throughout the project through peer review, partner feedback and continuous improvement. WP1 also promotes accessible, inclusive and environmentally responsible implementation by encouraging digital communication, blended working methods and the meaningful participation of young people with fewer opportunities.
WP2 – Research, Educational Programmes, Manual and Instruction
Work Package 2 provides the evidence and educational foundation of the project. It begins with a transnational needs analysis to identify knowledge, competence and training gaps in IoT, entrepreneurship and collaborative digital tools, with particular attention to NEETs, migrants and other young people with fewer opportunities. Based on the findings, the partnership will design educational programmes covering IoT sensors, Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Microbit, energy efficiency, environmental monitoring, sustainable business practices and digital collaboration tools such as Google Drive, Google Forms, Trello and Asana. A multilingual training manual and supporting instructional resources will be prepared, combining theoretical knowledge with practical examples, quizzes, videos and case studies. The resulting content will guide the platform development and subsequent training and pilot activities.
WP3 – YOUTH-IIT Platform Enhanced with IoT Educational Resources
Work Package 3 transforms the educational content into an accessible multilingual digital learning environment. The partnership will design and develop the YOUTH-IIT e-learning platform using a Learning Management System approach. The platform will host interactive IoT modules, practical case studies, videos, quizzes, self-assessment tools and collaborative learning functions. A dedicated area for trainers will provide guidance and pedagogical resources, while online communication features will support peer learning and networking among young participants. The platform will include content on sensors, energy efficiency, environmental protection and the integration of IoT into entrepreneurial activities. Accessibility, usability and flexible participation are central considerations, allowing young people to learn regardless of location or schedule.
WP4 – YOUTH-IIT Guide, Application, Assessment and Evaluation
Work Package 4 consolidates the project’s knowledge and tools into practical resources for young learners, trainers and youth organisations. Activities include the development of the YOUTH-IIT mobile application, a user manual and a comprehensive handbook or guide covering entrepreneurship, IoT applications and sustainable business practices. The resources will be designed to support easy access to training materials and help participants apply the acquired knowledge in real-life contexts. The work package also establishes assessment and evaluation methods for examining usability, engagement, content quality and learning impact. Questionnaires, interviews, peer review and stakeholder feedback will support continuous improvement and ensure that the tools are relevant, accessible and appropriate for the target groups.
WP5 – Pilot Testing, User Feedback and Final Adjustments
Work Package 5 validates the educational resources through direct testing with the target group. The YOUTH-IIT platform, application, modules and practical IoT activities will be piloted with 200 young people, primarily participants with fewer opportunities. Young people will test the learning content and interactive tools and provide structured feedback through questionnaires, interviews and discussions. Youth workers, trainers and relevant stakeholders will also contribute observations on accessibility, usability and educational value. The partnership will analyse the collected data, identify strengths and areas for improvement, address technical or participation risks and implement final adjustments. The result will be a tested, refined and user-centred learning system that responds more effectively to young people’s needs.
WP6 – Dissemination and Promotional Activities
Work Package 6 ensures that YOUTH-IIT and its results reach young people, youth organisations, educators, training providers, public bodies and other relevant stakeholders. Activities include the development of the project identity, a multilingual website, social media communication, digital and printed promotional materials, stakeholder meetings, networking actions and multiplier events. Partners will share project milestones, educational resources, success stories and opportunities for participation through their national and European networks. The dissemination approach supports both visibility and long-term use of the project results. The platform, training resources, videos and guidance materials will remain available online, enabling organisations and young people beyond the consortium to benefit from the project’s methods and outputs.
