About us

About us:

YOUTH-IIT is a 30-month Erasmus+ Cooperation Partnership in Youth, implemented from January 2025 to June 2027 by five partner organisations from Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania. With a total grant of EUR 250,000, the project responds to the need for stronger digital and entrepreneurial competences among young people, especially those who face barriers to education, employment and participation. The project focuses on the Internet of Things, a field that connects physical devices, sensors and software so that data can be collected, exchanged and used to improve processes. For young entrepreneurs, IoT can support automation, resource optimisation, energy efficiency, environmental monitoring and the development of new products and services. However, access to relevant and practical learning opportunities remains uneven, particularly for NEETs, unemployed young people, migrants and other young people with fewer opportunities.

Our Vision
a more inclusive European youth ecosystem in which young people can confidently use emerging technologies to create sustainable opportunities for themselves and their communities.

Our Mission
to provide accessible, practical and engaging learning resources that combine IoT, entrepreneurship, collaborative digital tools and environmental responsibility. YOUTH-IIT aims to help young people understand technology not only as a technical field, but also as a tool for problem-solving, social participation and responsible business development.

What We Do
To achieve this, the partnership will conduct a transnational needs analysis and use its findings to develop tailored educational programmes and multilingual learning materials. The project will create an e-learning platform with interactive modules, videos, quizzes, self-assessment tools and opportunities for online collaboration. It will also develop a mobile application, a user manual, a handbook and pedagogical guidance for trainers and youth organisations. The project will test and refine its resources through pilot activities involving 200 young participants. Feedback from young people, youth workers, trainers and relevant stakeholders will be used to improve the quality, usability, accessibility and relevance of the materials. Dissemination campaigns, stakeholder meetings and multiplier events will ensure that the results reach communities beyond the partnership. By linking technology with entrepreneurship and sustainability, YOUTH-IIT seeks to strengthen employability, social inclusion and young people’s capacity to develop innovative and environmentally responsible ideas.
